THERE ONCE WAS A GIRL FROM CALIFORNIA…

Hi! I’m Leah, Lulu or Lu, a twenty-four year old Los Angelino. As the youngest of seven, including the in-laws, I had a relatively easy time discovering who I was in the big crowd – the adventurer. For those of you who don’t know me I am a freak for my two “F’s”: food and festivities – on occasion it can be three … freak-outs … in a good way of course.

I’m sure there has been a time in your life when someone has asked you to describe yourself in two words, maybe one. Time and time again this question was presented to me and since I can remember my response has always been the same – adventurer or traveler.

Basically, I love going on adventures – no, let me rephrase that: I crave adventure. Perhaps I was born with the “wanderlust” gene everybody loves to talk about.

As somebody passionate about writing and journaling, I figured, “what better way to share my adventures then on a blog?” After all, it is pretty much a timeless time capsule that is a bit more innovative, fun and not to mention, won’t have to be buried out from underneath the ground – although, doing a little digging doesn’t sound all that bad.

Finding local gems, attending concerts, taking photos and enjoying the little things in life are things I’d like to think I’ve mastered by now. Having the opportunity to have lived in Los Angeles, Wolfeboro, Boston, New York City and Sydney, Australia, I’m ready to share my expertise.
